According to the U.S. National Center for Education Statistics, more than 76 million students have experienced some form of remote or online learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As SNA has also shifted to Remote Access Learning this semester, we understand that some students might take a longer time to adjust to this transition. Therefore, Ms. Aundrea Farley – Head of Student Support Services at SNA – would like to give her students some tips for effective online learning:
✅Have a designated study area
✅Be present and active during lessons (make sure the camera is on)
✅Ask for help when needed
✅Maintain your routines during the school day
✅Take movement breaks
✅Be prepared/flexible for the unexpected (Internet/Connectivity, lessons)
Online learning is a whole new realm for most teachers and students, so don’t be discouraged when things are slightly different from what you are used to! Push yourself and go beyond it!
